Wiggly Worms and Compostible Things
Sat. 13 May 2017, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm AEST
They wiggle and squiggle and live in the dirt. We may think them gross but worms and those creatures that live in the ground help break down food waste and create wonderful fertiliser for the garden.
Composts and worm farms are a great way to improve soil in your garden and help grow bigger healthier plants organically.
This workshop will teach you the steps to setting up your own worm farm or compost, what you can and can’t put in them and the tips and tricks to make your compost or worm farm successful.
This workshop is part of the Friendship Garden Open Day with additional workshops, activities for all ages and lunch.
