WIFT V-FEST are proud to launch their online festival program in partnership with WIFT Virtual, AFTRS, and Griffith Film School as part of International Women's Day celebrations. WIFT V-FEST which runs from 26- 28 March 2021 is proudly supported by Screen Queensland.

Come along to help us celebrate and elevate women in the creative industries. We will be announcing the finalists in our film competition and revealing the lineup of events programmed for WIFT V-FEST.

As part of the launch, WIFT Virtual will present a Women in Leadership Panel Discussion.

We will learn from some of Australia's best-loved women in leadership, Nell Greenwood (CEO - AFTRS), Romaine Moreton (Director, First Nations & Outreach), and Ana Tiwary (ADG - Strategy & Development Executive). Moderated by Pearl Tan, we will hear their stories about how they rose to the top of their professions and handled any obstacles along the way. The event will be followed by a Q&A where our attendees can ask all their burning questions.

The launch evening is being held at the Griffith Film School cinema for attendees who are able to participate in person and at the same time it will be offered as an online option. For the in-person event, Griffith Film School will be providing nibbles and drinks prior to the launch, so come and mingle!
