FAQs

What does registration fee include?

Registration fee includes guided tour & wetsuit/snorkel gear (including hood, gloves and booties) if required. You are urged to bring your own 7mm wetsuit and snorkel gear if you have it. Half price deal (promo code: owngear) requires participant to bring his or her own 7mm wetsuit + hood, gloves and booties + snorkel gear.

Where do I meet to take part in tour?

EMS team will have a marquee and registration table set up at Stony Point car park. A map can be found here and also on website here

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

The event is open to children 8 years and above. All children under 15 years must be accompanied in water by an adult/parent.

What can I bring to the event?

Bring your own 7mm wetsuit and snorkeling gear for 50% off ticket price (if you don’t have your own snorkeling equipment we can provide limited number if you pay full price). It will be cold after snorkel so please bring warm clothing/blanket.

Do you need to have snorkeling experience?

You don’t need snorkeling experience but you do need to be a good swimmer. Larger groups will be broken down to smaller groups with similar experienced snorkelers in each group - this allows more assistance to those who require it.

What if sea conditions/weather is not suitable for snorkeling?

We have a plan B site (Point Lowly Marina break wall) that can be snorkeled safely if too windy/swelly at Stony Point (see map here). Bad weather - EMS team will monitor sea/weather conditions the week leading up to the snorkel sessions - if not suitable for snorkeling all participants will be contacted via email & text message no less than 24hrs before their booked snorkel tour to let them know that sessions have been re-located to Point Lowly Marina.

Refund policy

EMS Team requires 7 days notice of cancellation by participant. There is no refund if less than 7 days given. If EMS cancels event then a full refund will be issued within 3 days.
