Description

What’s the point of having the perfect career, house, family or figure if you still find yourself feeling disconnected, alone and unseen?

It’s easy to confuse being communicative with feeling connected at a time when technology and social media rule so much of how we interact with others . The reality is anxiety and depression have never been so prominent. And neither has our addictions to alcohol, drugs, food, shopping or anything else that numbs what we’d rather not deal with.

So how does Wholehearted Living come into this?

Well in order to have more meaningful relationships with more love and less conflict, we need to cultivate a deeper connection to ourselves.

Your needs, values, boundaries and self worth make you YOU!

When we live with a deep sense of connection to our bodies, breath and innate wisdom, we can love authentically and vulnerably without fear and being truly seen.

In this 2.5hr workshops will be working through my 3 guideposts to wholehearted living.

Connection

To feel connected to yourself you need to acknowledge yourself.

Using breath work and meditation we’ll find a sense of stillness and calm. Taking the time to switch off from external stimulation, we’ll go inside and begin to tune into what feelings and needs we might currently be holding onto.

By moving in a gentle, flowing yoga practice, suitable for all levels, we’ll cultivate a deeper to connection our bodies and what it feels like to move intuitively, shifting any unwanted energy.

Compassion

You’ll never speak to anyone more than you speak to yourself in your head.

So learning to recognise your needs, when they are being met and when they aren’t, is integral to understanding your feelings.

In the second part of the workshop I’ll introduce you to Nonviolent Communication. You’ll learn how to recognise your changing emotions, find more compassion for yourself and others and how to change the way you communicate so your relationships are filled with more love and less conflict.

Courage

We have to let go of who we think we should be and fully embrace who we are now if we want to live an authentic wholehearted life.

During the final part of the workshop we’ll come together for some partner yoga and hold space for each other to feel truly seen, heard and valued.

Sharing authentically and vulnerably gives others permission to do the same, as well creating a sense of sisterhood and community.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There's plenty of parking at the Joymamma studio.

What can I bring into the event?

Yoga mats and props are all provided. Just bring water and a journal incase you feel inspired!

What's the refund policy?

A full refund will be given up to 24hrs before the event.
