Drawing on decades of experience as a Cardiac Nurse, Margaret Owens understands the profound positive impact that the food we eat has on our health.

Margaret’s not just read this in a textbook - she’s personally seen the transformation and opportunity for healing that can happen when we make different food choices.

Margaret admits it’s not easy. ‘When you take out fat, sugar and salt, what does food taste like?’ She quips. “The key is adding FLAVOUR. Healthy food must taste good.”

In this one and a half hour cooking demo, Margaret will guide you through 3 of her favourite Breakfast recipes - all wholefood & plant based, yet packed with flavour for a heart-healthy start to your day!

You’ll discover:

  • Easy Baked Beans with Nut Cheeze ‘Parmesan’ (dairy free, gluten free, vegan)

  • Tasty Toasted Muesli (vegan, dairy free)

  • Simple Chia Seed Porridge (dairy free, gluten free, vegan)

As always, you’ll receive a generous sample of each dish and the chance to ask any questions of Margaret, as well as your Dietitian host.
