Description

This workshop provides information on how you can beat the heat this summer by implementing simple and cost efficient solutions to keep your house cool and save money on your energy bills.

Come along and learn about: how a typical household may use electriicty during the summer; how to read your electricity bill; and exploring simple and practical opportunities to reduce electricity use without compromising comfort and health via retrofits and behaviour change.

Morning tea provided.

This is event is a part of Whitehorse City Council's Seniors Festival Program and in conjunction with two sister-events: Tour of the New Joneses Tiny House and Active Ageing through Gardening Workshop.
