Event description

Description

Interested in native grass identification?

The spear grasses are one of the most common grasses around, but have you ever wondered how to tell them apart?

Come to our workshop! Build on your knowledge and meet some like-minded people while learning how to identify the common spear grasses (Austrostipa spp.) in the Eastern Mount Lofty Ranges.

The workshop will be presented by Nicola Barnes, botanist with Natural Resources SAMDB.

This will be an indoor session and Nicola will bring samples of the common grasses along.

Bring your own food and drink, and a hand lens if you have one.

This workshop is supported by the SA Murray-Darling Basin Natural Resources Management Board through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Programme and the NRM Levies.
