Which I Notice in My Mind
Fri. 18 November 2016, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm AEST
Which I Notice in My Mind is a duo exhibition by Stewart Worthington and Jared Worthington. This exhibition has been the natural collaboration of father and son working through separation and familiarity. Stewart and Jared lived in Marsden, England before migrating to Australia. Marsden Village is surrounded on three sides by Marsden Moor, Meltham Moor and Saddleworth Moor. The village has low-level access through the Colne Valley via rail tunnels and the deepest and highest canal tunnel in Britain called the Standedge Tunnel. Both artists lead entwining journeys in relocating to Australia and have reunited in Brisbane to share in conversations of art, photography and the common interest in social chaos.
Jared was born in Huddersfield UK in 1989. Education 2008 – 2011, Bachelor of Photography (Honours), Queensland College of Art, Brisbane.
Stewart was born in Manchester (UK) in 1945. Education 2011 - 2014 Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Visual Arts, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane
