Chris Shannon - WA State Manager, Colonial First State
Chris began his career in Financial Services in 2004 as part of the Commonwealth Bank Graduate program. Since then he has worked in a number of roles with the Commonwealth Bank, Perpetual Investments and ING Australia before joining Colonial First State as a BDM in 2010.
Holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Finance from Curtin University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and Diploma in Financial Services.
Matthew Wood - Director, Insight Financial Partners
Matt’s background is in banking and finance, having commenced his career back in 2002 with one of the big 4 banks. The majority of his time spent within the banking arena was working with high net worth clients in the Private Bank, and he transitioned to providing personal advice to clients post the Global Financial Crisis as he wanted to be able to guide clients and help them make sound and informed decisions to work towards achieving their goals in a risk-aware way.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Paid street parking is available on Hay Street (1hr), Havelock Street (3hrs), Parliament Place (3hrs) and Harvest Terrace (3hrs). If you prefer, you can park in the city and catch the Red CAT bus to the Parliament named stop. Our office is less than 50m from this stop.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
We are happy for you to pass your ticket on to someone else if you can't make it at the last minute, we just ask that you email us the new attendee name(s) so we can update our registration list.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
There is no need to bring your printed along, there will be registration list upon entry and all you need to do is find your name and place a tick next to it so we know that you have arrived.
