What should our economy look like in 2030? Adelaide Seminar
Event Information
Event description
Description
Does Australia need a new economy? The rising gap between rich and poor, and the deterioration of our climate system and biodiversity suggests we do.
Food. Housing. Energy. Water. Money. Work. Health. Media. What could they look like in 2030, what do we need to do to get there and what is already happening in Adelaide?
If you're ready to get involved in creating a new economy, this is a great opportunity to connect into existing initiatives, start one of your own, or find ways to collaborate with others.
Please join local and visiting new economy leaders at this thought-provoking evening of discussions.

ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Speakers from different disciplines will share short summaries of what they think the economy should look like in 10 years’ time, and what actions need to be taken now in order to achieve it. The discussion will then be opened up to participants, to raise an issue, share information about a new economy project they are working on, or to find out how they can become more involved in new economy initiatives.
Come along to join the discussions and share your own ideas about how to build a new economy for Australia.
