Description

Join us for a Masterclass and Q&A by CERI International Expert-in-Residence, Jung Park. Jung is a US-based expert in branding, lean start-up modelling, team formation and entrepreneurship.

Jung will present on the topic of identifying and developing dynamic and viable concepts. The session will focus on the critical thinking skills to objectively analyse new business concepts and assess their viability, before investing significant amounts of time and money.

In the entrepreneurial arena there is nothing more disconcerting than watching someone pour his or her life into a new business concept with one or more serious flaws. Such unfounded optimism is similar to Alan Greenspan's term "irrational exuberance", a self-deceiving state likely to result in a financial loss and emotional pain.

Jung will provide the tools to minimise the risk of a 'sample of one' approach - which some would-be entrepreneurs take based on ideas he/she is in love with. Critically assessing the viability and feasibility of the new ideas before taking the leap will save money, time, efforts and emotions, so the 'right' idea is executed at the 'right' time.

The presentation will be followed by networking and refreshments.
