During Mental Health month mlcoa Victoria is pleased to invite you to our free weekly education sessions aimed at increasing understanding of mental health conditions.
Mental Health Event 2: “Ruminative Embitterment” with Dr Peter Farnbach, Consultant Psychiatrist
Ruminative Embitterment Syndrome is a response to perceived injustice or unfairness, characterised by intrusive thoughts and memories, expressed perceptions of injustice, negative mood, and embitterment itself. Those with RES usually suffer from intrusive thoughts and memories long after the triggering event, they phobicly avoid places related to the event (usually the workplace) and in some cases are pathologically consumed by an intense desire for revenge.
Please join us to hear Dr Farnbach discuss how to prevent and manage this condition.
