About this Event

In April, we begin with our remembrance and celebration of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus, with Good Friday (10am) and Easter Sunday (10am) services. Holy Communion will be celebrated on Good Friday both in-person and over Zoom.

After our Easter celebrations, we will be spending the rest of the month investigating the question - 'What Have We Come to See?'. This will be a theological exploration of the sense of sight, helping us to be more informed about what we should expect to see when we come to worship God together at church with his people.

In this three-part series, we will taking a tour of the whole Bible and explore what it has to say about the sense of sight from three different perspectives.

First we will explore the sense of sight from God's perspective, and what it takes for someone or something to be pleasing in God's sight.

Secondly we will explore the sense of sight from our human perspective, and what how we might understand our relationship with God in terms of becoming what we desire to see.

Lastly we will explore what we should expect to see with our eyes when we gather as a church, being wise to discern about how what we see physically is a sign of the invisible spiritual reality; that the Spirit of God is at work in moving his people toward love and good deeds.

Our Sunday service is live on YouTube from 10am - 11am Australian Eastern Standard Time.
