Wellbeing Practice Guide
The Wellbeing Practice Guide is a newly released document, developed by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority, to support the implementation of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). Content in the guide is informed by evidence detailed in a complimentary literature review. In reflection of the revised VEYLDF, the guide supports services to revisit the importance of children’s health and wellbeing in all aspects of pedagogy and practice. This practical session will facilitate a space for participants to explore key concepts and learning activities in the guide that can be implemented back in their services.
Participants will have an opportunity to
- Deepen understanding of the importance of wellbeing; connecting theory to practice
- Learn about the key concepts of the Wellbeing Practice Guide
- Reflect on and plan strategies to embed key concepts and activities into programs and practices
