Wellbeing for Women
Wed. 9 November 2016, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm AEST
Well-being for Women presentations allow women (from all walks of life, any age group and any occupation) the opportunity to discuss and explore the various aspects that can affect our health and well-being including: relationships, food, periods, menopause, mothering, true breast care, our relationship to our self and self worth.
The presentations support the understanding of how lifestyle choices are key to our state of health and sense of well-being and how, by making simple shifts in our day-to-day life, including the way we care for and nurture our selves, has a powerful and lasting impact on our selves and all around us.
Our next Wellbeing for Women is approaching on Wednesday 12 October 6:30pm and in honour of International Breast Cancer Awareness month we will be continuing with our theme of True Breast Care.
We learnt at the last presentation that we need to re-define the current relationship with our breasts and our bodies, to develop one that is not motivated by fear of disease or being viewed for function in breastfeeding and sex.
Join us for a warm and supportive evening where we will continue to explore together how we can begin to change this current view of our breasts and to take a level of responsibility for developing true breast care, thus supporting our longer-term health and well-being.
In support of this the Universal Medicine Self Breast Massage for Women will be shared – a technique that supports not only the connection and quality of relationship we each have with ourselves, but also the responsibility to know ourselves well enough to gauge changes that may require further medical attention.
All women are Welcome.
