Well-being for Women presentations allow women (from all walks of life, any age group and any occupation) the opportunity to discuss and explore the various aspects that can affect our health and well-being including: relationships, food, periods, menopause, mothering, true breast care, our relationship to our self and self worth.
The presentations support the understanding of how lifestyle choices are key to our state of health and sense of well-being and how, by making simple shifts in our day-to-day life, including the way we care for and nurture our selves, has a powerful and lasting impact on our selves and all around us.
In the September Wellbeing for Women evening for 2016 on Wednesday 14th @ 6.30pm, we have something special planned, something groundbreaking, relevant and empowering for every last one of us.
Currently when we think of Breast Care we think mammograms and breast checks, but beyond these necessary medical checks and buying a well-fitted bra, there is little on our radars or in our routines that truly cares for and nourishes our breasts. Why would we, you might ask? Come along and find out… you will be amazed and delighted to discover that breasts provide a gateway through which you can re-establish a relationship with yourself as a woman, that they are there to nourish you first, before they are there for any other, whether that be breastfeeding, intimacy or fashion.
Join us for an evening where Rebecca Poole and Jenny Ellis will offer insight, understanding and education around what enduring breast care might entail, and how you can begin to take greater responsibility for the health of your own breasts. Showcased throughout this relaxed style evening, will be the new website Foundational Breast Care, a not-for- profit resource designed by women to support enduring breast care, making this accessible for all women, worldwide.
Light refreshment (non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles) will be provided during the evening.
ALL women are very welcome.
