Online event

Overview

What common psychosocial hazards exist in Australian schools and how do we identify them? Webinars are recorded (three months access).

Australian schools are complex, high-pressure workplaces. School leaders are responsible for identifying and managing related psychosocial hazards - an important challenge in protecting and promoting staff mental health.

This workshop supports school leaders to understand and identify psychosocial hazards at school. This vital first step can assist in meeting legal obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act, and understanding how to provide a mentally healthy school workplace.

Participants will learn about:

  • common psychosocial hazards in Australian school settings
  • a simple four-step process for identifying hazards
  • realistic Australian school examples
  • next steps for leaders in maintaining mentally healthy school workplaces.
