Event description

Description

Are your projects WELL by Design?

WELL is the leading tool for advancing health and well-being in buildings globally and is currently shaking up the Australian construction industry. If you are a designer or just curious to hear more about how to leverage WELL’s flexible framework for improving health and human experience through design then book yourself in for this introduction to WELL!

You'll learn how to build for people. WELL was initiated because it was noticed that there was a missing piece in the sustainability conversation – people! You'll also learn about how this standard, the first of its’ kind to focus solely on the health and well-being of the occupants of a building, was developed. Walk away with key concepts and features at the heart of WELL. This presentation will also explore WELL’s design and construction model and how it integrates human health features into the built environment.

The WELL Building Standard is verified by a performance based system which measures the impact of the built environment on human health – understand how this differs from Greenstar’s verification model and the Greenstar/WELL Crosswalk.
