EVENT REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL UNDER OUR COVID SAFE PLAN.

Your Welcome to Campus event will help you get set up for Uni. You'll get to meet your fellow students, and have plenty of time to sort out your ID card and resolve any enrolment questions you might have.

In the morning our focus is on Newnham campus, starting at 9:30AM. Please be on time so you don't miss any critical elements of our exciting program.

If you were born in Summer or Autumn (Fall), you'll start the day with a welcome and info session, yarning circles and free morning tea, followed by a fun and interactive campus tour.

If you were born in Winter or Spring, you'll start with the campus tour, and then move into the welcome and info session, yarning circles and free morning tea.

We'll all come together at 12 noon at the Queen Elizabeth Walk for a Bloom For Your Room workshop in the Queen Elizabeth Walk area (hint: you'll go home with a fabulous gift).

From 1 o'clock we will be running a shuttle bus service down to Inveresk Campus for our relaxed afternoon chill out session. There will be live music, food trucks with lots of yummy free food options, and you'll get a chance to hang out with new friends and meet your TUSA student representatives and UTAS student leaders. There is a separate event registration for the afternoon session at Inveresk and registration is essential.

We'll run the shuttle bus service throughout the afternoon until 4:30PM, so you won't have any trouble getting back to Newnham campus.

The day starts at 9:30AM and finishes at 4:30PM, so wear comfortable shoes and clothes (there will be a lot of opportunities to sit on the grass) and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. We will have sunscreen and hand sanitiser for you, but remember to apply and re-apply to stay safe.

If your birthday is in December, January or February, please meet at 9:30AM at Lecture Theatre 9 in L Block (Arts Building).

If your birthday is in March, April or May, please meet at 9:30AM at Lecture Theatre 5 in the Sir Raymond Ferrall Centre (Building X).

If your birthday is in June, July or August, please meet at 9:30AM on the grassy hill outside the Sir Raymond Ferrall Centre (Building X).

If your birthday is in September, October or November, please meet in the grassy courtyard outside the Student Services Building (Building Y).

If you get lost, or you aren't sure where to go, please come to our Welcome Point outside the Student Services Building (Building Y) for help. It's always a good idea to come a little bit early if you aren't sure where you need to be. Our student leaders can't wait to help you figure it all out.
