Hi, my name is Adriano -thanks for being here! I hope you can be part of a new community charity event I've created and together we can make a positive difference to young people and their futures.

So, here's the deal:

Web Free Weekend asks YOU to go Web Free for 1 Weekend and donate to Whitelion WA-a not for profit organisation that supports young people at risk by building positive connections and creating opportunities for a brighter future. Many of the young people Whitelion work with experience homelessness, child protection and juvenile justice involvement and their programs guide them to develop positive, sustainable life pathways to stable housing, education and employment.

“I have seen first-hand the Whitelion programs which engage young people in arts, sport, skills-training and ultimately build confidence and lasting connections. The youth workers are INCREDIBLE! These programs create young leaders who go into the community and become role models. Whitelion shows young people-you matter and your future matters-and that is how we build stronger and inclusive communities”   

My hope is that the chance to disconnect from devices and the internet will help us connect with our loved ones, our environment, our lives and help us realise how lucky we are-and that we can always make a difference and change the world, one weekend at a time!

There are 4 simple steps:

2. Get your friends and family involved in the challenge!

3. Go Web-Free from midnight Friday 4th December to midnight Sunday 6th December

4. Feel GOOD knowing 100% of your donation will go to keeping Whitelion WA programs thriving and supporting young people.
