“I would not know how I am supposed to feel about many stories if not for the fact that the TV news personalities make sad faces for sad stories and happy faces for happy stories.” - Dave Baryy
The media. We have more access to it than ever before, and so CAN have more influence on our worldviews and perceptions. If we believe that our 'perceptions shape our reality,' then what reality do we want to shape?
We will hear from Jeremy Carne, who is Hamish and Andy's producer and the producer of the Collective Potential Podcast. He believe that videos are the most effective moden tool to awaken love in the largest amount of people, and that the shortest distance between two people is a smile. Over the last 15 years he's been capturing real moments and fast approaching a collective audience of half-a-billion people!
We'll hear from Jeremy's ("Jez") story on the power of media and how he now curates hit input to maximise his output.
As usual, following our Jez's story, we will have a facilitated open-dialogue between us all to expand our thoughts, reflect on the the role media plays in our own lives and see how we might adjust this! We will have light refreshments and nibbles available for us to mingle over afterwards before heading home refreshed.
We will be limiting these gatherings to 35 people so we can maintain intimacy. You can pay cash or card (preferred) at the door, if we haven't already reached capacity.
