Description

Wayapa Wurruk® is a brand new Wellness & Earth Connection Practice based on ancient Indigenous knowledge and wisdom that focuses on taking care of the Earth as the starting point for healing ourselves. Through Earth mindfulness, deep breathing, narrative meditation and movement, Wayapa Wurruk® provides a sense of belonging to the Earth while creating holistic wellbeing. These daily sessions throughout ANU NAIDOC Week will be an introduction to Wayapa Wurruk® and a Wayapa Wurruk® physical and mindfulness practice.

Please wear clothing you are comfortable doing bending and stretching motions.

This event is located in the Blue Room at ANU Sport and is physically accessible. The practice can be undertaken standing up, sitting down or as a visualisation/mindfulness technique. There are accessible and gender-neutral bathrooms within the building. The closest parking (including accessible parking spaces) the parking lot on North Road next to Hancock Library and the parking lot on the intersection of North Road and Daley Road.
