Description

Macroinvertebrates (or waterbugs) are a very important part of our waterways. They are a key part of the food chain and can also tell us the health of the ecosystem.

Come along this Waterwatch Waterbug Census training day to learn more about these amazing animals. You can also find out how to become involved in collecting waterbug data from your local waterway. No previous experience required.

The training day will cover:-
• why we are interested in macroinvertebrates
