Watergum Cane Toads - Tweed Shire Info Session

About this event

Watergum's Cane Toad Control program is coming to Tweed Shire!

Watergum has partnered with Tweed Shire Council to bring cane toad control to Tweed Shire this season.

Trap tadpoles by the thousand and learn how to rid your properties of toads to contribute to neighbourhood eradication of this dangerous pest.

Cane toads are highly toxic at every life stage presenting significant danger to pets, wildlife and agriculture. The plague is spreading at an alarming rate and we need to work together to reduce their numbers and reclaim our properties and natural areas.

Join us on Thursday, 9th of December at Murwillumbah Services Club to learn how to trap tadpoles on your properties, how to toad-proof your water-bodies and more.

Murwillumbah Services Club have kindly donated their venue to us for the evening, you can purchase a meal and a drink to enjoy while you listen to presentation and have your questions answered by the Watergum team.

Learn all about our new and improved tadpole traps that will be available to purchase very soon!

Spaces are limited so please REGISTER!

Let's make a difference, let's impact cane toads!
