Event description
Make beautiful and delicate snowflakes from paper doilies, and add watercolour paint to make them pop!

About this Event

Make beautiful and delicate snowflakes from paper doilies, and add watercolour paint to make them pop! The workshop will be led by our very own Naomi Oliver, who has been running school holiday workshops for many years at Blue Mountains Library. Naomi is a practising Artist and experienced Art Teacher.

This workshop is suitable for 6 - 12 year olds.

You will need to join us on Zoom by registering here. You will be provided with a Meeting ID once you have registered. You must provide your mobile phone number as we will text you the password 24 hours before the workshop. If you do not have a mobile phone,once you have registered, please contact us on 4723 5040 or 4780 5750 (Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm).

Material list:

*White Paper Doilies, preferable round (for example, 'Korbond Catering Paper Doilies' available from Springwood IGA) - if unable to find doilies, please bring at least 6 sheets of regular white printer paper

*Scissors

*Watercolour palette or tubes of watercolour paint - alternative: watered-down acrylic paint

*Paintbrushes

*Container of water

*A mixing palette - (piece of flat plastic, like a plastic lid or plate/old piece of tile/old ceramic plate).

*Paper towel for spills

*Work on a covered surface and please wear paint clothes

*Area to lay artworks to dry
