About this event
Learn how to capture landscape as art and paint scenes from your outdoor travel adventures to WAs spectacular National Parks. Choose from a selection of photos displaying the red earth up North, the deep blue oceans along the coast and the magical Eucalypt Forests in the South West. Once you've learned the basics you can have a go yourself on holiday immersed in your favourite landscapes.
Come along to learn how to paint with a watercolour and ink technique, guided by local Perth Artist, Ellie Biggs. No experience is needed, bring friends or meet friends at this fun art event.
What: Beginner Painting Class: National Parks in Watercolour
When: 6:30pm - 9:00pm Thursday 25th November;
6:30pm - 9:00pm Wednesday 1st December;
6:30pm - 9:00pm Wednesday 15th December;
6:30pm - 9:00pm Thursday 20th January;
10:00am - 12:30pm Sunday 13th February.
Where: 95 Rokeby Rd, Subiaco WA 6008 at Rokeby Loft (upstairs of the Jaffle Shack).
Who: Anyone is welcome to join, no previous painting knowledge is required. You will be guided by lovely Ellie Biggs, a landscape artist.
Why: Learn something new, explore your creativity, have fun with friends and come away with a masterpiece of your own.
What is included:
- Barista made coffee and cake in the day classes and cheese board and a glass of wine (BYO is permitted) for the night classes
- All art supplies
- Watercolour paper
- Aprons
