Event description

Description

Angus and Robertson played a pivotal role in the history of publishing in Australia and the Library is the custodian of their extensive archive. These records remain the single most valuable resource for the study of Australian writing and publishing.

David Angus and George Robertson, who started publishing in 1888 at their Sydneybased offices, developed a successful company which championed Australian writers alongside established international authors.

This forum brings together contemporary researchers working on various aspects of Australian literature, publishing history, print culture and the digital humanities.

Includes lunch.
