Event description
This event invites you to share family correspondence and histories from World War II with experts in the field of family history and war.

About this event

Letters that were written between servicemen and their loved ones offer great insight into the private lives of people who lived during war and the nature of their relationships. This History Harvest, which is part of the South Australia's History Festival, invites you to bring family correspondence and histories from World War II to share and discuss with Ph.D. candidate Emma Carson and family history expert Assoc-Prof Katie Barclay.

This workshop is held in Room 2052 of the Barr Smith South Building on the University of Adelaide campus. This room is slightly hidden away. Navigate to the Hub Building at the centre of Campus, go in the main hub entrance, and follow signs for Barr Smith South. From the main hub level, you will go down stairs to Level 2 and follow the signs. Here is a video of how to get there from the Hub: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyLmEZ2w3IY
