Thu. 5 October 2017, 10:30 am – 11:30 am AEDT
See where life-changing medical discoveries are made
Discovery tours provide a unique opportunity for the community to get in contact with biomedical research:
see our state-of-the-art research facilities
learn about some of our most exciting discoveries
meet our scientists
hear how our research is shaping future treatments
Tours are free and run for approximately 60 minutes.
We welcome visits from schools, community groups, universities and individuals.
As tour groups visit a working laboratory, closed toe shoes must be worn for occupational health and safety reasons. The minimum age for discovery tour attendees is 12 years old.
The Institute is also open to the public for Open House Melbourne on 30 July 2017.
Public tours are for individuals and small groups (less than 10 people). For group bookings (10–45 people), visit our group bookings page.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
