Walkin' Wardrobe: Buy, Swap, Sell Fashion Events
About the event
Walkin’ Wardrobe- buy, swap, sell fashion events are tailored to those who wish to buy, swap or sell quality fashion items. There is no denying that we all have those items in our wardrobe that we have purchased but never worn or maybe only worn once. Why keep them in our closet when we have the opportunity to pass them over to new owners who may appreciate them a little more.
Fashion items that may be found at the events will include new & pre-loved clothing, popular labels, shoes, racewear, millinery, formal wear, vintage wear, sport apparel, jewellery, bags and other fashion accessories.
This time we are having a Walkin' Wardobe event for Mums and Bubs as well as our usual ladies fashion event.This event can include items such as maternity wear, children’s clothing, shoes, toys and accessories. Same location but two seperate halls.
Well this is every ladies dream, shopping till you drop without breaking the bank while supporting a great cause. Grab your friends, some cash and head down to the event to bag some great bargains. The event is free to attend however we do ask for a gold coin donation upon entry, with all funds raised going to the Townsville Hospital Foundation.
We have a limited number of stalls available at both events, so you will need to secure your spot fast. Each stall will be 2.5m x 2m and will be located in-doors.
Only stall holders will be able to participate in the 'swap' element of this event.
Stall holders tickets are $38 including the online admin fee. This ticket will grant you:
- Access to the event
- Entry into the venue from 9.30am
- A designated 2.5m x 2m space within the venue
- Ability to partake in the 'swap' element of the event with other stall holders
Please note: Stall fees of $35 will be refunded or transferred to the next available date in the case that the event has to be cancelled. Online admin fees will not be refunded.
The event is a BYO furniture and equipment; this would include items such as:
- Clothing racks
- Other display items
- Cash float
- Bags for customer purchases (optional)
If you don’t have your own table thats fine you can hire one for the day. Table hire fees are $10 for the day, only a limited number available. This can be ordered at the time of booking your stall holders ticket.
There should only be a max of 2 people per site. You have the option to share the costs and space with 1 other friend or you can choose to have the space to yourself depends on your wardrobe status.
All items must be cleaned and price clearly displayed.
What’s available at the venue?
- Toilets are located inside the venue
- A basic change room area will be present in the venue. It’s your decision if you would like people to try on your clothing or not.
- ATM facilities are NOT available at the event, so make sure you have enough cash.
- Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase on the day
Bump in/ Bump out
Bump in: All vendors have access to the venue from 9.30am Sunday. All stall must be set up and ready to trade by 10.30am.
Bump out: No vendor is to pack down their stall before 2pm. From 2pm all stall holder can begin pack up.
Please note: No items can be left in the venue overnight.
Access to venue/Parking
There is free parking available. Once you have registered a map will be sent to you with more information.
