Walk & Talk to Veg Out Community Garden & Studio (Thursday 6 October)

On this outing we'll explore Veg Out Community Gardens and Studio in St Kilda (& beach walk towards Elwood if time)An oasis of calm in one of Melbourne’s busiest tourist precincts. A fertile and creative place, this is a community garden run by volunteers and nestled in art studios and eclectic sculptures. Tour given by a local plot holder and committee member.

Location on map below. Free parking available on weekdays just outside entrance on Chaucer St.

What to bring: water bottle, sun hat, sun screen and comfortable clothing and footwear for Melbourne’s inclement weather. You may like to bring a light snack or piece of fruit.
