Have you been running around responding to things outside of your control - bushfires, COVID, other things impacting negatively on your life?
Are you interested in nature, being outdoors, and in mental health (whether that's yours or other's)?
Adelaide Hills Youth Leadership invites you to join us for guided walks through Bushland Park, Lobethal, to learn about regrowth, recovery, biodiversity and mental health & wellbeing!
Here is a chance to relax and unwind in nature.
Wander through our community wellbeing expo to learn about resilience, selfcare, choices, and mental health support available in the Hills.
Program:
* 10:00 start - Welcome to Country
* Bushwalks starting at 10:15am (easier), 11:15am (moderate), and 12:15pm (moderate)
Note: the first walk will be somewhat shorter and easier, but will also feature Aboriginal interpretation.
* Community Wellbeing expo
* Food an beverages to be enjoyed on the lawns
This is a youth event for ages 10-30, with families welcome.
This Adelaide Hills Youth Leadership event is part of the #FestivalofFun2022 and the Adelaide Hills Council SA Youth Week program. It was made possible with contributions from the Department of Human Services SA Youth Week funding, and the Alcohol and Drug Foundation/Local Drug Action Team program.
