Kav will explore the craft of songwriting on guitar and how you get from strumming a few chords on your acoustic, to a fully produced song.He will demonstrate the practical techniques required and the path he takes when writing on guitar. From finding the right chords to fit your melody, to how to make an impact with your chorus and create dynamics. Kav will deconstruct some of the iconic Eskimo Joe songs and show how he started to create these on his Maton guitar, revealing the steps he took to make them from a song on his couch to a massive radio ready hit.

He will show you how to write as the songwriter yourself and how to support the songwriter if writing in a band. Covering important subjects including: how to make sure your guitar riffs and vocal melodies compliment each other, the art of letting go of one idea to reveal another better idea, when to include others and the importance of collaborating.

You will also get the chance to problem solve any songwriting issue you may have with Kav Temperley himself, in a questions from the crowd session at the end of the masterclass.
