Lost with all the changes in Taxes? Having trouble keeping track of all the new immigration policies?

Whether you are hiring employees from overseas, hoping to move to Australia for work, or considering living abroad, knowledge of taxes, immigration and visas is critical to your success. Being able to understand the rules and regulations as well as the impact of any modifications is essential. For these reasons, the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA Chapter has decided to organise a business seminar covering these specific topics, on Thursday 29 August from 5:30pm onward at EY.


Alexandra FARNY, certified public accountant and registered migration agent at AXYN Solutions, will focused on the employer visa options (training visa, TSS visa, permanent residency) & latest updates.

Helene RODARI, Registered Migration Agent and a member of the Migration Institute of Australia will give you an overview of all the recent and upcoming changes regarding Visas.

Nicole LOW and Bryan McFADZEAN, senior managers at EY will introduce the commercial realities and the challenges dealing with employer sponsored visa program, in particular the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa subclass 482. She will also discuss the high level update regarding the Single Touch Payroll reporting obligations for employers with foreign employees on shadow payroll arrangements which are applicable from 1 July 2019




Our Speakers:

Alexandra FARNY is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a registered migration agent (MARA). She started her career in Switzerland, where she specialised in international tax matters, prior completing her second master degree in taxation at Curtin University.

In 2016, she co-founded AXYN Solutions, a migration agency offering tailored solutions in French & English to:

- Individuals wishing to migrate to Australia

- Foreign companies wanting to send their employees to Australia

- Australian companies interested in recruiting talents from overseas.

Helene RODARI is a Registered Migration Agent (MARN1170325) and a member of the Migration Institute of Australia. After a career in consulting and finance management in France, she moved to Australia in 2008, studied Migration Law at Murdoch University in 2010 and started her own migration practice in Fremantle, WA in 2011. She specialises in Employer-Sponsored Migration, Skilled Migration and Family Migration.


Nicole LOW is a Senior Manager in the EY’s People Advisory Services - Global Immigration team. Nicole is a passionate immigration specialist with over ten years of experience in the industry.

Nicole has extensive experience in assisting large blue chips clients to smaller businesses across a range of industries including Oil & Gas, Mining & Metals, Construction, Education, Professional Services and Government departments with immigration requirements including provision of strategic advice and compliance review. Nicole also assist clients in labour agreements negotiation with the Australian Government.

Bryan McFADZEAN is a Senior Manager within EY’s People Advisory Services team, specialising in employment taxes and global mobility services.

A Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years’ experience in tax, Bryan assists clients across a number industry sectors in proactively meeting and managing their employment tax risks and obligations. Bryan’s experience includes advising on complex fringe benefits tax, superannuation and payroll tax issues and ensuring compliance in these areas. Bryan also manages mobility programs for employers with small to large assignee populations, assists with cross border tax planning, conducts tax briefings and guides expatriate employees through the Australian tax system.
