Consumer protection will visit South Coastal Heath and Community Services to provide a free information session regarding the new tenancy laws in WA.

These laws allow victims of family violence to exit a tenancy where they are not safe. The laws can also absolve victims of family violence from any responsibility for rent arrears or property damage when these arose through family violence.
