WA Support Coordination for Providers
Event Information
About this Event
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) would like to invite Western Australian providers to attend an information session about support coordination. These sessions are general information sessions for providers new to the intermediary space to learn about their role as a support coordinator and the expectations of the NDIA. The review of the current support coordination service model is still underway, therefore the results of these consultations will not be available for discussion at this session.
These sessions will cover:
- updates on the NDIS in WA
- overview of the role of support coordination within the NDIS
- relevant registration groups
- implementation of NDIS plans, including service agreements and participant My-place portal
- provider portal as a support coordinator
- identifying housing solutions
- plan reviews (scheduled and unscheduled)
- reporting to the NDIA
- questions and answers.
This session is offered over multiple dates to allow flexibility for attendees. Each session will cover the same content, so please only register for the date you wish to attend.
Sessions will be delivered via video-conference using Microsoft Teams. Registrations will close three business days prior to the session date.
Two business days prior to the session, login details (including the MS Teams link) will be sent from events@ndis.gov.au to the email address you provide at registration (this email may filter to your junk mail).
** Please note we encourage individual registrations for all sessions to ensure each registrant receives these details.**
Accessibility is important to us. If you have any accessibility, interpreter, live captioning, or other requirements please advise when registering. Please note, a minimum of five (5) business days' notice is required to book interpreters and live captioning services.
