Western Australian agriculture is evolving at a rapid speed. Technologies such as automation, drones, sensors and robotics, are becoming more significant factors in assisting farmers. Unrestricted and uninterrupted regional telecommunication is the key to WA taking leading position in food production and processing.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session and a general discussion moderated by Senator Linda Reynolds


For the local participants and those who decided to come earlier there will be a morning session facilitated by Farming Champions Inc. starting at 10 am, which will present an opportunity for attendees to share their experiences with current telecommunications and explore opportunities that improved connectivity will facilitate for the wellbeing of regional Australians and the economic growth of Australia.

Attendees will be able to rotate through groups on agriculture; business; health; education; professionals and tourism.’



Kukerin is about 3.5 hours drive from Perth, so some of you may choose to stay overnight. Accommodation in the immediate area includes:

We have a limited nuber of FREE bus tickets (see the registration section).

The bus will depart from Burswood at 8 am sharp. The exact location is marked as a blue line on illustrations below.

We have made arrangements, so the cars can be parked for a day at the free parking on the site of the old Burswood Dome, marked blue on the illustration below, close to the Burswood Train Station.


The bus will arrived back from Kukerin and drop off the pasangers at the same location in Burswood at approximately 10 pm.
