Description

What could happen if you ignore the Vulnerable Workers Legislation

What changes will Franchisors have to make under the impending Vulnerable Workers Legislation?

The Vulnerable Workers Legislation has arisen due to serious misconduct from a number of large companies; household names that we all know: 7-Eleven, Caltex, Subway. The list goes on. It was found a number of these companies were engaged in strategic and deliberate conduct to save money on labour, which always ranks in the top overheads of business.

This has caused the Federal government to come forward with the game-changing legislation, making Franchisors liable for franchisee misconduct when it comes to managing their employment relations at a grassroots, franchisee level.

This exclusive breakfast briefing event will help to answer the main questions that may impact your business as a result of the passing of the Vulnerable Workers Legislation:

Content:

  • What does this change mean?
  • How does this impact my franchise and the franchisees?
  • When do I have to make changes?
