Description

Due to a technical issue we have now closed this page. Please see our new event URL: eventbrite.com.au/e/70103991927

Please join the Wolli Creek Preservation Society for a fascinating evening with Assoc. Prof. Dieter Hochuli who leads the Integrative Ecology laboratory in Biological Sciences at The University of Sydney. He will speak about insects and associated invertebrates of remnant bushland and their importance. As we don’t yet have much information about invertebrates in the Wolli Creek Valley, his talk will no doubt be very interesting.

The simple facts are that the world is dominated by plants that seem to spend their life interacting in all manner of ways with the most species-rich group of animals on the planet - insects.” sydney.edu.au/science/people/dieter.hochuli.php.

This year’s Wolli Creek Preservation Society Annual Dinner we will be held at the Scots Club at Arncliffe, with a 3-course buffet, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. As usual, the evening will include a trivia quiz and raffle in addition to the key-note talk by Dr Hochuli..

Ticket price includes one year membership of the WCPS, and you can sign up at the dinner if not already a member.
