Visual Sensemaking & Leader as Facilitator
Thu. 13 October 2016, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm NZDT
This full day workshop brings together the elements of two of Lynne Cazaly’s popular programs:
- Visual Sensemaking, and
- Leader as Facilitator.
Visual Sensemaking helps build your visual skills to sketch, scribe, map and sense make so you can:
- capture thinking, ideas and information (yours and other people’s!)
- convey detailed and complex information
- collaborate and work with others to think, plan, design, problem solve and co-create.
It includes developing a visual icon dictionary of your own style and practicing applying those images and maps to content relevant to your work.
Leader as Facilitator helps build your confidence and capability to lead a team or group session.
It is a facilitated session; you get to contribute your challenges and questions about facilitation and then Lynne Cazaly responds, presents and facilitates the session, demonstrating many of the incredible and impactful techniques that facilitators know and apply. When you are challenged by individual or group behaviour, there is often a response you can apply to help keep things moving, and keep people engaged.
Combining these two approaches of Visuals and Facilitation will immerse you in a creative workshop experience where your skills and knowledge are boosted by watching, participating and contributing."
It includes a copy of one of Lynne's books, depending on what suits you and what you're interested in. Read more about them here: http://www.lynnecazaly.com.au/lynne-cazaly-books-author/
