Event description

Description

While it’s true you don’t necessarily have to come from a design background to transition into User Experience Design (UX), a basic understanding of key design principles is a big asset. Combing this knowledge with your UX experience will put you in a more informed position and empower you to communicate and deliver design concepts to clients.

If you’ve only studied UX and have little knowledge of visual design, you may have gaps in your skill set they may hold you back from progressing in your career. When developing wireframes, for example, it’s vital to know how the final product will come together so you can communicate this to the Visual Designers to take it to the next stage.

Our workshop, Visual Design for User Experience, aims to equip you with essential design skills such as sketching graphics, utilising Photoshop, and understanding key design principles. This one-day workshop is designed to emphasise the importance of UI when it comes to UX and how Visual Design can complement your career as a UXer.
