Christopher will share his approach to setting strategy and goals, the power of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and how to focus, lead, and drive an organisation by setting ambitious goals and measuring progress.
You will also learn about Christopher's executive career from his early days at Microsoft and Amazon to his time leading eBay's North America business. Today, Christopher is the Chief Operating Officer at DoorDash, the US's most successful on-demand food delivery business. Through his tenure, DoorDash has grown exponentially from a valuation of a few hundred million US dollars to over US$16 billion today. You will hear about this extraordinary journey and the lessons Christopher has learnt about data in startups, growing businesses with data, and expanding the business internationally.

About Our Speaker
Christopher Payne is currently the COO of DoorDash, Inc. and a board member of GoGo Inc. He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Tinder, Inc. and the Senior Vice President, North American Marketplaces of eBay Inc. from September 2010 to December 2014 and the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Positronic, Inc. from July 2007 until December 2008, when it was sold to eBay. He previously served as a Vice President at Amazon from 1998 to 2001 and as a Vice President at Microsoft from 2001 to 2007. He also was on the board of directors of Rue La La from July 2011 to October 2013. He holds a B.A. in U.S. History from Dartmouth College.
