Collingwood Children's Farm - virtual farm tour

About this event

An in-person visit to the Farm is a wonderful hands-on, sensory experience but isn’t always possible for groups in alternative settings or who live too far away from Abbotsford.

Whether you’re a Primary School, Aged Care setting, Early Childhood, Disability services etc., a Virtual Farm Tour could be a great option for you!

Our Virtual Farm Tour is directly linked with Victorian Curriculum P-2, however, we feel it can provide engaging and fun content for all ages.

In a Virtual Tour of the Farm, you will meet one of our farmers (via Google Meet) who will show you footage of our beautiful animals and tell you all about them.

You will learn about:

  • Where our animals live and what they need to stay healthy as adults and as babies
  • What food and fibre products some of our animals provide, and how these can be changed or combined to create more products
  • How to use correct terminology for animals (as well as their products)

The tour is interactive and engaging, with plenty of opportunities for you to ask us any questions you may have about our animals and what we do on the Farm.

A Virtual Tour of the Farm is generally available weekdays during the school term from 2.30-3.30pm. There may be some flexibility depending on our on-site bookings for the day. Get in touch with our friendly admin team before booking if you require a time adjustment.

You will receive the Google Meet link one week prior to your booking.
