Learn from Angela and Jessica who will share their experience and insights tele practice and specific considerations on assessing Domestic Violence risk.
This lunchtime bite webinar will cover:
- assessing risk during tele practice;
- lessons learnt including specific impacts Covid19;
The response to Covid19 and the introduction of physical distancing and isolation measures can significantly compromise the safety and privacy of survivor victims of violence, abuse and neglect and their ability to access services. Additionally, the transition towards the provision of services via telehealth, raises additional risks for survivors and may provide them with fewer opportunities to safety disclosure violence and abuse.

Angela Petridis is a clinical psychologist at Jade House Karitane as well as the Allied Health Educator.
Jessica Clements is the Clinical Nurse Consultant CFH for Karitane. Jessica has a background in working with families experiencing perinatal mental health concerns

This lunchtime bite is open to all practitioners and managers working in Community, Government, Police and Justice Sector in South Western Sydney with responsibility for; Family and Domestic Violence; Men’s Behaviour Change Programs, Women’s Services, Child Protection; Violence Prevention, Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol and Health professionals are encouraged to attend. Places are limited as Business Skype allows maximum of 250 participants.
