**Please note: this session is aimed atAallied Health Professionals within WACHS, who have access to the WACHS videoconferencing network. Dial in details will be sent one week prior via email to the person who has registered for each site. Feel free to invite mulitple attendees to your site- you only need to register once per site.

Are you interested in learning about the latest assistive technologies to help your clients be more independent? This workshop series aims to provide student and new graduate Occupational Therapists with an overview of assistive equipment and technologies (AT) available. Each workshop will provide participants with an overview of a particular equipment area. The areas of focus are Paediatrics, Transfer and lifting aids, pressure care, and toileting equipment. In these areas we will include;

  • What AT is available?
  • Who the AT is suitable for?
  • What features are available?
  • What requirements you should consider for your clients?
  • A hands on look at the variety of AT.

Target Audience: Occupational therapists who are interested in assistive technology.
