Event description
Join Victorian Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Prevention of Family Violence and Women, Gabrielle Williams, at a special MPC lunch.

About this event

Last year, the Victorian Government announced its intention to hold a Truth and Justice process to further progress reconciliation and Treaty with First Nations people, making Victoria the first jurisdiction in the country to do so.

The process will recognise both historical wrongs and ongoing injustices against Aboriginal people, and will play a key role in healing the wounds of the past and helping build a stronger, more resilient state for all Victorians.

Join Wurundjeri and Ngurai illum Wurrung woman Sue-Anne Hunter and Victorian Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Prevention of Family Violence and Women Gabrielle Williams at a special MPC lunch on the Truth and Justice process.

Sue-Anne Hunter is a commissioner for the Yoo-rrook Justice Commission. She has served as National Sector Development Manager for SNAICC – National Voice for our Children, was co-chair of the Family matters campaign to end the over-representation of Aboriginal children in out-of-home care.
