Victoria’s New Environment Protection Laws - Update from EPA Victoria
Event Information
About this Event
Victoria's new environment protection legislation is intended to commence on 1 July 2021. This is the most significant reform to Victoria's environment protection laws in the 50 years of EPA's existence.
Given the challenges of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the decision was made last year to postpone the commencement of the new environment protection legislation by one year. In December 2020, the Victorian Government released the proposed final versions of the regulations and the environment reference standard (ERS).
This webinar will:
- be an opportunity to explore key changes to environmental regulations
- cater to your questions — submit questions that you want answered as part of this session
- an ongoing resource- a video of the session will be made available.
Attendees are also encouraged to have questions prepared for EPA staff to answer. You will be able to submit your questions through the Microsoft Teams chat function as part of the online event on the day. The chat will be moderated and we will do our best to address all queries within the allotted time.
A link to the event will be sent to registered attendees prior to the event, along with a copy of the below agenda.
