Description

The Victorian Legal Services Board cordially invites you to the launch of the 2019 Designing Justice Differently Grant Round.

In 2019 our priority theme will be improving access to justice through human-centred design and technology. Officially launched by the Victorian Legal Services Commissioner, Fiona McLeay, this event will include an introductory design workshop delivered by our design partners Portable followed by a light lunch. At the workshop you will learn:

  • what human centred design is and how it applies to legal and social services

  • how to define the complex problems you want to tackle

  • how to use creative research activities to uncover what the people using your service feel and value

You will also get the chance to collaborate with like-minded people to build better solutions and ideas which could be developed for application to this funding round.

This workshop is highly recommended as an essential introduction to the Designing Justice Differently Grant Round. Please join us for a light lunch after the workshop concludes.
