Event description

Description

In 2015, the Victorian Government launched its independent energy price comparison website, Victorian Energy Compare (vic.gov.au/victorianenergycompare) to help Victorians save money on their energy bills.

The website helps Victorians find the best electricity, gas and solar offers by using data from their smart meter or power bill. Of those that have already used Victorian Energy Compare, 90 per cent have found offers that could save them money, with half of the users finding offers that could save them more than $330 per year.

This session at Frankston Library will provide practical advice on how consumers can access savings by using the comparison website, and addresses the structure of energy bills, different pricing options and concessions.

Bring your bill along to Frankston Library on Thursday 30 November at 10:30am.

This is a FREE event but bookings are essential. Bookings open on Thursday 16 November.
