Event description

Description

As part of the implementation of the new Victorian Alcohol and Drug Collection (VADC), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is organising a range of information sessions to provide additional support to Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment providers.

DHHS have engaged VAADA to run a VADC Information Sharing Session on Friday, 7 July 2017.

At this session, AOD treatment providers who have CMS that meet the VADC specifications will talk about their systems and examples of how they work. It is thought this type of session will allow AOD treatment providers, who may need to procure new systems, the opportunity to get a sense of what data management systems are available, how they work, how much they cost and what might be involved in the transition process.

A light lunch will be provided.

Further information on the VADC implementation can be found on the webpage http://go.vic.gov.au/awXeql. Questions regarding the VADC implementation can be forwarded to AODDataDev@dhhs.vic.gov.au.
