-Movie in Spanish with English subtitles-

Regarded as one of Spain's most outstanding movie director, Vicente Aranda's (1926-2015) career spans for over forty years. His movies are essential not only to understand Spain's political transition towards democracy but also to understand Spanish cinema from the 1980's and 1990's. This film series aims to pay tribute to this iconic Spanish director by screening five of his most emblematic films.

FATA MORGANA:

The inhabitants of a strange desert Barcelona are gradually leaving the city in a panic group. The victims of a serial killers seem to feel strangely attracted by their executioners. Only Gim, an attractive blonde advertising model, decides to face her destiny.

Parental Guidance: This movie is not recommended for children under 18 years old.

Be on time: The movie will start at 6:00 pm so please arrive before. After 6:00 pm, the ground floor door will be closed and the elevator unable to go up to the Instituto Cervantes.
